The content of the journal is open access, under the principle of making research freely available to the public. All articles accepted and published are distributed free of charge under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license since 2023. The journal does not apply charges for article processing (APC).

The journal adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) declarations and the Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) definition of open access: The copyright holder of a scholarly work grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent). This allows for immediate free access to the work and permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
